AM I MARRIAGE MATERIAL?

The course was great from what I understood, I should have had it 38 years ago. What confused me was asking if I was marriage material. I was for 38 years until he left the 80 to pick up the 20. No fault of mine. The challenge is, am I willing to be hurt again? What impressed me was the different stories of others.

This course inspired and encouraged me. It gave me hope to know the Word is going out in its purity as God is specific in what He expects of all His children. If this instruction was more widely presented and adhered to, I may find the comfort of a husband once again. Keep up His good work, my dear brother.

While it's not a huge challenge, wives obeying their husbands caused me to pause a bit. While I couldn't immediately think of a scripture stating those words, my example was Sarah. She obeyed Abraham, calling him Lord. I figure as long as he is following the Lord and leading his family toward God will make it easy to obey.

This course was thought-provoking and piercing. It made me look deep into my soul and character as to why I choose the men I've dated and the man I was married to for 25 years. I know I can do good/bad all by myself. But it's being with the man that doesn't seem to want to better himself, spiritually and otherwise. I conclude with my mother wanted and needed a man to take care of her. I thought that was me, but I'm far from that. I also conclude with the fact of knowing I’m marriage material. Honoring and respecting my husband is not a problem. Him taking advantage of that is a problem but I'm good with being with me, myself and I and God being my Man. Thank you so much.

I've been helped tremendously by the Am I Marriage Material course. The teacher /presenter, Brother James Bradley, is always willing to share his wisdom and understanding with others. He has helped and encouraged single men and women of all ages with his teachings. He references the Bible scriptures, but his lessons were not a Bible class. His lessons prepare you to be better and to make wiser choices. He has reinforced my belief and desire to live a holy Christian life. I understand better now that I can avoid temptation and become stronger and closer to God, striving to be a virtuous woman. I can be happy and blessed in my current state, but if God blesses me with a husband, I know I will be blessed indeed.

I have really enjoyed the conversations/fellowships over the past few years and feel I have grown as it pertains to my dating mindset. Looking forward to applying what I've learned in my future marriage.

I really enjoyed the AM I MARRIAGE MATERIAL course. I hate I didn't join the course in the beginning. Brother Bradley really gives real explanations of the roles of the husband and wife. He interacts with the audience and gets the audience feedback about the lesson, what was said. If. Don't understand? He breaks it down so that one can understand. The course was informative and helpful to where I am in my life right now, helping me to know if I am or not ready to be a wife.
